This tour provides a detailed plan for exploring two of Sichuan’s UNESCO World Heritage Sites in a single day. You’ll experience the ancient engineering marvel of Dujiangyan and the serene Taoist mountains of Mount Qingcheng, with convenient transportation from Chengdu.

Itinerary:

In the morning, the guide and driver will pick you up at your hotel (free pick-up for the hotels within Chengdu 2^nd ring road) and the drive to Dujiangyan.

Dujiangyan Irrigation System is a remarkable feat of ancient engineering still functioning after 2,250 years). You can explore the world’s oldest non-dam irrigation system. You will discover the birthplace of Taoism in China. Visit Jianfu Palace, Shangqing Palace, Laojun Pavilion, and Tianshi Cave. Option to take cable car or hike.

In the late afternoon, drive back to Chengdu in air-conditioned vehicle and typically ends at Tianfu Square.
